Business owners, managers, physicians and other professionals from across the state are selecting the Rawls Executives-style MBA Programs over other universities because of their quality, convenience and cost. “Working professionals are pursuing an MBA for career enhancement, and the doctors want to do it to better manage their practices,” said James J. Hoffman, PhD, professor and associate dean of Executive Education and MBA Programs at the Rawls College of Business. Participants include working professionals wanting to advance their careers, entrepreneurs looking to optimize the value of their enterprises and physicians, dentists, podiatrists and optometrists seeking to increase practice profits and decrease risks.
The overall theme of this MBA program is to teach people how to make their organization more valuable and to learn how to manage risk. Participants have given the program rave reviews because of an engaging curriculum where they learn analytical principles by applying them to their current business environment. They also praise the faculty for their real-world relevance and designing a program that addresses the logistical challenges of managing careers, families and classroom work.
